I wanted to take a moment to show you guys something I’ve been working on. This drawing that you see above is what I’m starting to picture the Rhodes family will look like in a year. In this particular shot, Anna will be 2 years old and starting to look a little more like Violet. Both Desmon and Violet have a more relaxed lifestyle allowing both to wear casual clothes most of the time. I am going to give Violet two outfits, one for work and one for home just to switch things up a bit. Should make for an interesting dynamic.
In all honesty, seeing Violet with her hair down is a bit strange but I think I like it. Desmon looks awesome and Anna is… um… not there yet. I drew something on paper that I really like but this version isn’t doing it for me. I need to break it down and figure out what I did right before I duplicate it out.
I’ve also dropped a new logo I’ve been working on. It’s a goal of mine to slightly alter the logo every year to reflect the past/future changes. The theme of year 2 is going to be change. I thought that shoes would represent that the most as Anna will be walking but running, generally talking and much more by the time the year is over. Desmon will be dealing with his stay-at-home issues and Violet will be searching for something she’s been missing. All in all it should be a good year.

Yeah, i didn’t really like how Anna turned out. As one reader pointed out, it looks like she’s way older then 2.
As for the rest of the family, I love them. And yes, Violet will eventually lose her baby pooch.
